Thoughts on the past 12 months

I am remembering 366 days ago when I was so scared about my impending quit ( I now have to laugh because I was never scared about what smoking was doing to me). I wondered how I would drive, talk on the phone or have any happiness whatsoever without my beloved cigarettes.I found the QSMB about 2 weeks prior to quitting-I read a bizillion posts as well as the Alan Carr book (it was available as part of the newbie package at that time). I had never attempted nor wanted to quit before and I knew this was a one shot deal. I could not expect folks to cheer me on a second time and I knew that I only had enough stamina for one quit.From day one I was excited and kept saying "Yipee-I'm a non smoker!" (I got that advice from the Alan Carr book and it worked for me). I know alot of people frown on the quitmeters but that was a HUGE motivation for me.
