Almost 9 days nicotine free
I am nine days nicotine free as of like 9:00 tonight. I didn't honestly know if I could make it at first, but I am doing much better. It's so nice to not have to worry about the patch anymore. It was almost like having to worry about remembering your smokes... "Oh my gosh! I forgot the patch!" Or "Where is my patch?" all this stress. So anyhow, life is good. I can't remember if I told you all but, to anyone who is thinking of quitting or has quit recently...I am 23 years old and have to have my gum grafted, probably from smoking related dental issues. Ewwww! They cut a piece off the roof of your mouth and stitch it in to your gum. I go on 10/13 for my "assessment" (?) before surgery. So I'm a little...ok a LOT...nervous for this procedure. Anyway it's keeping me motivated to keep my quit!Edited to add that I mentioned to DB today I have spent 48 of the last 50 days smoke free. Which isn't quite enough for me. I initially quit on 8/14. Had 2 bad nights
