Oral Cancer

While I was at the Dr's today, she suggested next time I go to the dentist, to have a oral cancer screening done. She said they just swab the inside of your mouth. Not that she sees anything to be concerned about, just as a precaution. Her father had been a heavy smoker, then he noticed a redness on his cheek, but put off going to the dr. When he finally went, he was diagnosed with oral cancer, but the worst was it had spread to his jaw bone and into his brain and not operatable. So I'm really glad that she suggested the screening.
