Dr appt today!

I went to my Dr for the first time since quitting. When I first walked in, the nurse asks the usual questions, starting with do you smoke. Oh my gosh, do you know how great it felt to be able to answer, NO? I haven't been able to say that for 37 years! Then my doc came in and was soooo happy that I did indeed quit and it's been almost 6 weeks. She listened to my lungs and said they sounded great and she even thought I looked better. My blood pressure was actually lower. Weight was up, but doc said that is to be expected, but I told her I start my membership at the Y tomorrow, so hopefully that will take care of that issue. But either way, I'm feeling so good about myself. I told her, I've never done something just for myself, that gave me so much pride. I hope I never forget this feeling, when craves come
