Finally I have made it through day one and must say that it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Today I am going to spend studying and getting ready for my night shift at work. I am finding that keeping my quit in the very front of my awareness is absolutely necessary. Every few hours I "forget" that I quit and get that feeling of anticipation of having a cigarette then have to tell myself that I dont smoke anymore - and that is when the craving kicks in. I can work with it now and not let it have so much power over
