Tomorrow's the day
Greetings Everyone!What a great message board and support group!I smoked for 23 years and then quit cold turkey for 13 years. During those 13 years of being smoke-free I never touched a cigarettte, worked out at the gym 6 days a week, and felt better than I had ever felt better both physically and mentally in my entire life. Six years ago I began smoking again after experiencing the loss of my mate and now I'm again smoking a pack+ a day. I want control of my life back... to run without gasping for breath, to have an abundance of energy because of healthy lungs and heart, to not have to excuse myself from an event to go outside for a fix of nicotine, to not be dependent on a costly product that is simply designed to kill me.I remember how challenging the first 7 to 10 days can be, but I also remember the incredible rewards after getting past those initial days.
